Using an ever so slightly modified version of the official VGC rule-set, bring your best team of 6, and knock out your opponents Pokémon one-by-one.

Saturday - Doubles Matches

Prepare your team for the official Play! Pokémon VGC rules.

Compete in the Double Battle Format using your best team.

Sunday - Tag-Team Matches

Bring a friend, and combine your efforts in order to come out on top.

Compete along side a friend, in the Double Battle Format, each using three Pokémon to take down other pairs of trainers.

Summary:

  • All battles will be Double Battles played in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon

  • All Pokémon in the National Pokédex are allowed, with the following restrictions:

    • Pokémon must have the Alola symbol showing they were caught in the Alola region

    • Mythical Pokémon, some Legendary Pokémon, and Ash-Greninja are not allowed

  • Duplicate Pokémon are not allowed

  • All items are allowed, but duplicate items are not allowed

  • All Pokémon are set to Lv. 50, including Pokémon below Lv. 50

  • Player time is 5 minutes

Please note: Tournaments where 3DS titles are involved are being played on a 'bring your own console' basis and will be played in the handheld area. All consoles are subject to your own discretion as the convention cannot hold any personal equipment for any reason and are not responsible for any damage or theft that may occur.
