A failed assassin lurks amongst the staff and nobility of the royal court in Quothquan. This person must be caught before they make another attempt on the king's life. Or worse Slip away into the mass of people never to be seen again. The court has always been a web of shifting loyalties as each family looks out for their own and little else.

You have been brought in by the Queen as people she has deep trust. She has given you absolute authority to investigate the nobles, staff and attendants in the court. This is because the king is wounded and still suffering and there may be poisonous liquids in play. You are to seek out the attempted killer and if possible expose other schemes in the court.
